Without it, you will feel limited to walking to Osh Bazaar and some of the parks - when, in reality, Bishkek has so much more to offer.Great variety in the itinerary as well - you will come to love this city after these 4 days. Definitely recommended for anyone headed to Kyrgyzstan soon.

It was my first time to Central Asia and although I am well-traveled, I needed a little hand holding, so I appreciated the attention to detail in this guide. My comprehension of Cyrillic was shaky, so the many maps helped pinpoint where things were. Bishkek really can be very reasonable to explore if you know what you are doing.
The practical info in the back was helpful. It would have been nice to have some more Kyrgyz phrases, but Russian is really the lingua franca.
